Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to all of our readers! Today we bring you some fabulous ideas for non-traditional, elegant Halloween decor! Let's get started...

First off, it's not Halloween without pumpkins! We love using them all season long, mixed with rose hips, fall foliage and seasonal flowers. Candlelight is an absolute must for creating the right ambiance, so we used lots of votives and rusted bronze candelabras for this pretty autumnal table scape.

 ......

Next we have a gorgeous table using red flowers, crystal candelabras and juicy, blood-red fruit.

Can't you see some seriously chic vampires feasting at this table? Probably not on the fruit, though....

This next series of images was taken at a private dinner in an ancient deconsecrated Tuscan church...using the original altar and pews as the table and seating....super spooky!

Add tons of candles, burgundy clematis trailing over everything like overgrown vines and juicy red pomegranates and you've got yourself a very "seance-ready" atmosphere!

......

Finally, a stunning table inspired by Miss Havisham, the wealthy spinster in Charles Dickens' Great Expectations. The bride had a very clear idea of the decor for her wedding, describing her vision as "a table that has been there for 100 years" and specifically citing the heiress' decaying mansion as inspiration.

This was not a "Halloween" wedding exactly, but the idea could certainly be used as a gorgeously ghostly banquette, don't you think? Especially with the touches of deep, blood red...

Have a frightfully fun Halloween everyone and stay safe!

Country Chic Castle Wedding

Ciao to all! Sorry for the holdup, but we have been winding down the season and enjoying the beautiful fall weather here in Florence!

In June we had pleasure of working on a beautiful event in the gorgeous Castello di Brolio. The bride wanted a very natural mix of classic elegance and country chic, so we used lots of fresh, aromatic herbs, sweet peas and beautiful English roses. Here at Tuscany Flowers, we have exclusive access to over 1,000 types of locally grown Old English roses, which you may notice in the photos of our other work. You can really see and smell the difference!

We have lots more weddings lined up so check back soon!
