Tuscany Flowers

Flowers from Florence to the Louvre - Ferragamo & Da Vinci

On March 27, 2012, we were invited by the house of Salvatore Ferragamo to create the floral decorations for a day of events at the Musee du Louvre in Paris. The famous Florentine company best known for their handcrafted leather shoes and bags (Mr. Ferragamo himself was the creator of many iconic shoes, including Dorothy's ruby slippers in the classic 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz"), is the sole sponsor of the new exhibition at the museum of Leonardo DaVinci's newly restored work "Saint Anne", which was the last painting he had completed. The luncheon at Café Richelieu. 

We used a mix of pastel-colored spring flowers, adding warmth to the gorgeously dark, moody surroundings.

The gala dinner at the Café Mollien was decorated with vases of "Ferragamo Red" spring flowers and modern crystal accessories, bringing a bit of Italian-Chic to the historic French ambience.

Tuscany Flowers provides full-service event decor, from the flowers to the vases, lanterns, chandeliers and candelabras. All of our items are available in a variety of colors and materials and given sufficient lead-time we can shop for special accessories to complement your event.
